Pathology: Imaging Correlations of Meningiomas—Imaging Mimics

Meningiomas have characteristic imaging features, making diagnosis straightforward in most of cases. The occurrence of neoplastic and non-neoplastic extra-axial masses that mimic meningiomas is infrequent, but it is important to recognize these entities as they have a wide range of prognoses and different management strategies. This chapter outlines the most important mimics along with their imaging findings with key features for differential diagnosis.
