Protection of Landscape Infrastructure Under Conditions of Dynamic Influences
摘要
Blasting operations conducted in quarries affect the surrounding landscape. The paper proposes improvements to the scheme of conducting blasting operations in one of the Ingulets quarries, where the main problem of deposit development lies in the possibility of water breakthrough from the Ingulets River through natural fissures into neighboring quarries. With the aim of protecting the natural landscape, schemes and parameters of drilling and blasting were developed that would not contribute to the expansion of existing tectonic fissures. The open pit development of mineral deposits is accompanied by the release of harmful fractions of dust and gases into the atmosphere. This is mainly associated with drilling and blasting operations, partially with the operation of quarry transport. The emission of harmful components negatively affects the surrounding cities, the health of the working personnel, and leads to environmental pollution. The paper presents the results of studies on the spread of dust and gases in the territory of the city of Kryvyi Rih and proposes an improved method of reducing dust and gas emissions into the atmosphere of the quarry during mass explosions.
