Action and Identity
摘要
What determines what a person does? What is the role of imitation? Would a predictive model imitate? What suggestions does such a model offer about human action, including how conformity and polarization occur? This chapter considers these questions, with a focus on the papers Suhay, E. (2015) Explaining group influence: The role of identity and emotion in political conformity and polarization, and Institute of Group Relations, & Sherif, M. (1961) Intergroup conflict and cooperation: The Robbers Cave experiment.
