Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Abdominal Imaging
摘要
This chapter explores artificial intelligence (AI) in abdominal imaging, for both noninterpretive and interpretive applications. It begins with foundational AI concepts, including machine learning, deep learning, and specific AI techniques like convolutional neural networks and natural language processing. The chapter details noninterpretive AI applications such as workflow optimization and patient scheduling, followed by interpretive applications like lesion detection, disease classification, and segmentation. The clinical evaluation of AI tools, including sensitivity, specificity, and predictive values, is discussed alongside the business and financial implications of AI in radiology. The chapter concludes with considerations for future directions, addressing challenges such as data diversity, algorithm transparency, and ethical aspects, and highlights the importance of interdisciplinary collaboration to advance AI in abdominal imaging.
