Today’s mining industry faces many challenges due to several factors like environment, market, working conditions, etc. Among all these, the major challenge is the control of dust, which is generated due to the frequent movement of dumpers on haul roads, ore crushing, drilling, and blasting. It directly affects the health of workers and in many cases, it can cause fatal accidents due to poor visibility. This paper presents different aspects of mine dust, mine air quality, and the impact of such dust on the nearby environment.

摘要
