This chapter explores the accounting and tax policies related to transfer pricing in companies within the BRICS economies (Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa). Transfer pricing, a practice commonly used for tax optimisation, enables multinational companies to benefit from favourable tax regimes while remaining compliant with existing legislation. However, this strategy raises concerns for tax authorities, who aim to ensure that income is taxed equitably based on where it is generated. The chapter addresses these challenges by providing a detailed analysis of current issues and proposing solutions for fair tax management in the context of globalised business. Additionally, through a bibliometric and statistical analysis of the literature, the chapter identifies new research directions and significant theoretical contributions in the field of transfer pricing.

摘要
