摘要

This study aimed to examine the effects of pozzolanic materials as an additive on the compressive, tensile, and flexural strengths of concrete mixes containing different percentages of cement kiln dust. To determine the effectiveness of cement kiln dust (CKD) as a weight-for-weight replacement of cement, There were 60 samples manufactured of five different concrete mixtures, including CKD. The percentage of replacement was 0% in the control mix and 40% in the other mixes. The mixes (G3, G4, and G5) also contain additions of 5%, 10%, and 15% of fly ash, respectively. As a result of using cement kiln dust as a replacement for cement, the results demonstrate that all concrete strengths decreased. When fly ash was added as a pozzolanic material to mixes containing cement and cement kiln dust, all of the concrete's strengths increased. However, all the results were below those of the control specimens: fly ash, CKD.
