摘要

The potential application of eye tracking technology for analyzing traffic situations in individuals exhibiting symptoms of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) is explored in this study. The research aimed to investigate blink dynamics in adults with ADHD symptoms while driving in a car simulator. Participants completed a 15-min driving task on a monotonous highway, with one stage involving cognitive load using the 2-back auditory test. The study included 34 subjects, with 12 exhibiting symptoms of ADHD. Eye movements were recorded using mobile eye tracker glasses. Results revealed differences in blink characteristics between individuals with and without ADHD symptoms, with those exhibiting symptoms demonstrating more frequent and longer blinks during simulator driving. The identified blink behavior patterns could be utilized in the development of a neural network model for detecting and predicting ADHD symptoms.
