Approaching the Current State of the Art of the Use of Artificial Intelligence in Cybersecurity
摘要
The technological revolution of the 21st century has completely changed our society, making cybersecurity a critical component to protect networks, devices, software and data from unauthorised access and attacks. With the exponential increase in digital interconnectedness, cyberattacks have not only increased in frequency, but also in severity, requiring intelligence-driven cybersecurity to protect against emerging threats and manage large amounts of information. The effective analysis of large amounts of data offers promising methods to protect cybersecurity, especially artificial intelligence (AI). However, the obscurity of machine learning and deep learning techniques highlights the need for explainable intelligence (XAI) to instil confidence in users while maintaining high accuracy. This study presents a systematic review and bibliometric analysis of 149 articles on the use of artificial intelligence in cybersecurity, highlighting the potential of AI-driven techniques to improve cyber threat detection and protect systems in complex environments.
