Work-related musculoskeletal disorders (WMSD) are the disease of the century, affecting a considerable portion of the working population. Repetitive tasks, incorrect postures, heavy tasks, lifting loads, machine vibration and low temperature are some of the factors of physical risk that cause musculoskeletal disorders. Preventive measures, including workplace restructuring and task rotation, have proven effective in reducing WMSD complaints. This study focuses on evaluating of the effect on muscular activity using a passive lower exoskeleton (Chairless Chair) through analyses of various physiological parameters in an industrial context.
