In the current era of rapid developments in digital education and entertainment, there is a need for innovative approaches to intellectual experiences. Integrating new techniques with traditional pedagogies is essential to keep learners engaged and motivated toward deeper understanding. This study proposes a personality archiving system that integrates Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) technology with the “capsule toy” mechanic. RAG technology combines the information-gathering capabilities of search engines with the content-generating capabilities of generative models, enhancing the accuracy and relevance of information provided to users. The “capsule toy” concept, widely used in entertainment and commerce, introduces randomness to maintain user interest and high retention rates. The proposed system offers a novel learning experience by merging RAG technology with the capsule toy mechanic. It presents users with information about randomly selected historical figures and their personality traits, providing a unique learning experience each time. This randomness encourages users to explore different perspectives and stories, increasing engagement and learning effectiveness. The system also gamifies the learning process, making it enjoyable and motivating users to return by offering bonus points or rewards for unsuccessful attempts. By randomly selecting historical figures from an extensive database and generating their personality characteristics, the system fosters unpredictable fun and a deeper appetite for knowledge. For instance, Jesus Christ might be displayed with traits such as ‘merciful,’ ‘wise,’ and ‘miraculous,’ allowing users to learn from varied viewpoints. This research highlights the significance of combining education and entertainment to enhance intellectual experiences. It details the mechanisms of RAG technology, the academic relevance of the capsule toy mechanic, and the design and implementation of the proposed system. This approach aims to extend people's intellectual experiences by providing an engaging and effective learning platform.
