In this research, a questionnaire took place to determine the current status of eXtended Intelligence (XI). Survey items include awareness, understanding, impressions, and expected benefits of XI. The survey was conducted on 165 men and women, 18 years of age and older, who could recognize artificial intelligence as of January 2024. The survey found that XI was actually known by about 30% of the respondents. The understanding of XI was also low, even among those who were aware of XI. Most respondents were positive about their impressions of XI. There was a wide range of responses regarding expectations for XI, such as increased business efficiency and the creation of new value. Through this survey, it became clear that XI is a relatively new concept with low awareness and understanding among people. However, basically XI impressions are affirmative, and it is likely that XI will become the more widespread concept. Future efforts should be made to increase XI awareness and to examine its social impact.
