Multi-site Linked MOCAP Streaming System and Applications
摘要
This study develops a real-time visualization system that connects a real-time MOCAP system to a multi-site system using our originally developed real-time network transmission technology and integrates it with real-time rendering technology. The system consists of real-time motion capture technology, real-time network transmission technology, and real-time rendering technology. The real-time motion capture technology processes measured motion data in real-time to generate body models. Real-time network transmission technology transmits motion data acquired by real-time motion capture via the Internet network. Real-time rendering technology passes motion data to CG character models to generate character animations when body movements are measured by the real-time motion capture system. In other cases, objects and other objects are displayed based on segment information measured by the real-time motion capture system. The real-time motion capture systems are Motion Analysis’ MAC 3D Coretex system and Movella's Xsens Link system. The real-time network transmission is VRPN (Virtual Reality Peripheral Network). The real-time rendering engine is Unity3D by Unity Technology, Inc.
