As humans, we perceive time as longer or shorter due to various psychological, medical and other factors but we live a life within the same physical time of 24 h as a day. However, it is not necessarily true that animals other than humans live with the same sense of time as humans, and it is difficult for us to recognize how animals perceive time. Therefore, in this study, we investigated the sense of time of several mammals based on previous researches and designed a system that enables us to visually experience “sense of time” of those species.

摘要

As humans, we perceive time as longer or shorter due to various psychological, medical and other factors but we live a life within the same physical time of 24 h as a day. However, it is not necessarily true that animals other than humans live with the same sense of time as humans, and it is difficult for us to recognize how animals perceive time. Therefore, in this study, we investigated the sense of time of several mammals based on previous researches and designed a system that enables us to visually experience “sense of time” of those species.
