The 2021 Tokyo Olympics were characterized by the greatest focus on the mental health of athletes in Olympic history, with multiple athletes abstaining or withdrawing from participation because of mental health problems. The bias that athletes are impervious to such issues is perpetuated by not only those around them, but also the athletes themselves, who tend to view their own mental health issues as taboo. Against this background, many athletes suffering from mental health end up isolating themselves, which exacerbates their symptoms and may even lead to suicide. As a contributing factor, the accelerating prevalence of slanderous comments on social media has had an enormous impact on athlete stress. Although social media brings many benefits to athletes, it is also a source of numerous issues. Experts argue for proactive and educational social media training as an alternative to traditional policy and punishment models; nonetheless, research on this topic remains limited. Therefore, to further enhance social media education and training, this study proposes an application that allows users to view comments and messages after filtering information.
