This chapter examines the critical role of education for climate change in promoting awareness, adaptability, and practical solutions to the climate crisis. It emphasizes the significance of incorporating climate change concepts into formal and informal educational systems to provide people and communities with the information, abilities, and mindsets required to handle the complex issues posed by a warming planet. It looks at how HEIs set the standard for incorporating climate change education into their research, outreach, and curriculum.
