Galbraith, John Kenneth
摘要
John Kenneth Galbraith was an original institutionalist and post-Keynesian economist. He is famous for having formed an unconventional view of American Capitalism in his postwar trilogy (American capitalism. Houghton Mifflin, Boston, 1952b; The affluent society. Houghton Mifflin, Boston, 1958; The new industrial state. Houghton Mifflin, Boston, 1967). His socioeconomic analysis deals with subjects such as the theory of the firm, managerial revolution, public spending, consumption theory, price control (A theory of price control. Harvard University Press, Cambridge, MA, 1952a), financial crises (The great crash. Houghton Mifflin, Boston, 1955), power relationships (Anatomy of power. Houghton Mifflin, Boston, 1983), and the dynamics of capitalist institutions more generally.
