摘要

Peripheral nerve sheath tumors (PNSTs) are soft tissue neoplasms arising from nerve sheaths outside of the central nervous system. Imaging methods, including magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), computed tomography (CT), positron emission tomography (PET), and ultrasound, play an essential role in the diagnosis and management of PNSTs. These methods provide a method for early tumor screening, tumor evaluation, and therapy efficacy prediction, but traditional human-eyes-based identification is time-consuming and subjective. Recently, a machine learning-based approach has recently been reported to excel at recognizing imaging data and providing accurate radiology assessments. In this part, we firstly introduce the common imaging methods used in PNSTs management. Then, we discussed current studies based on machine learning method in PNSTs. The advances of this in the future will further promote the clinical accurate diagnosis and precision treatment for PNST patients.
