Graffiti, Street Art, Tourism, and Creative Cities in a Global Frame: The City as Discovery
摘要
This chapter situates the book project in global conversations about the growing role of graffiti/street art as a tool for tourism. It argues that a global and comparative approach that broadens examples beyond iconic places like Wynwood, Miami, is essential to offer scholars, students, and cultural workers a more diverse representation of the possibility of art as more than “discovery,” and instead a tool for education and critical investigation. We outline the methods used in the book and summarize the chapters.
