The lack of transparency in justice feeds the perceptions about a lack of justice and, consequently, the public distrust in the judiciary. Given the place of the constitutional courts in a democratic society, the people’s trust is essential to achieve their role and for the effectiveness of constitutional justice as a whole. The evolution of new technologies and the accelerated digitization in the context of the recent pandemic provide valuable tools for a more transparent constitutional justice closer to the citizen. The study offers a perspective on how new technologies increase the transparency of the activity of the constitutional courts, with specific reference to the evolution of the Constitutional Court of Romania, but also from a comparative law perspective concerning the constitutional courts of the European Union. Based on the analysed coordinates, conclusions are formulated from the perspective of how these reforms increase the public accountability of the judges of the courts and consolidate constitutional justice in the public perception.

摘要
