Exploring Variance: Seeking Nuanced Stories Within ENA
摘要
Epistemic Network Analysis as a modeling tool is beneficial for understanding the differences between groups within data. However, there are times where groups may not be as cohesive or well-defined as researchers would hope or where there is a risk of inadvertently combining subgroups which would be better described when segmented. In this paper, we present a design case where tools were used to better understand the nature of groups within ENA to better tell the story of learners in an educational game.
