Energy Management for Household Integrated with Renewable and Electric Vehicle

In the realm of sustainable energy solutions, the integration of renewable energy and electric vehicle (EV) storage in household energy management presents a significant advancement. This paper introduces a novel energy management system that synergizes solar power, grid energy, and an EV battery for optimized energy utilization. We analyze three operational scenarios: a base case relying on grid power and EV battery, a case incorporating solar power without energy sell-back, and an advanced scenario with renewable integration and energy sell-back capability. The results demonstrate enhanced energy efficiency and cost savings, showcasing the system’s potential in transforming residential energy management towards greater sustainability.
