Fixed Power Optimized Path Selection Using Fuzzy Pairing for C-V2X Communication

The research in this paper introduces Fuzzy Pairing cellular vehicle to everything (C-V2X) Communication using fixed power at the transmission and optimizing the path between the transmitter and the receiver. The work mainly concentrates on the V2V link but can be extended to include the vehicle-to-infrastructure (V2I) link. The objective function is defined to maximize the V2V communication transfer rate. The constraint of the objective function is set to maintain fixed power during the transmission. Therefore, the work is divided into two sections power control and fuzzy control coupling. The fuzzy decision-making for pairing uses an exponential function. The introduced model offers a highly secure transmission for V2V communication links. The proposed method was simulated to evaluate its performance, and the proposed method outperforms similar related methods.
