Fuzzy Type-3 Mamdani Controller
摘要
The theory of Interval Type-3 Fuzzy Sets (IT3FS) engages attention of researchers due to its unresolved challenges and complexity, despite its considerable appeal. However, its practical application remains limited and necessitates further investigation. Thus, this paper aims to explore the implementation of a Mamdani-type controller using fuzzy type-3 sets. In particular, the author focuses on the design and practical application of a fuzzy type-3 Mamdani controller. By presenting an illustrative example, the paper demonstrates how such a controller can be effectively utilized in real-world scenarios. This example serves to highlight the potential advantages and challenges associated with integrating IT3FS into practical control systems, considering its feasibility and performance in comparison to conventional methods. Through this investigation, the contribution work aims to help to the ongoing discourse on IT3FS, offering insights into its application in control theory and emphasizing its relevance in addressing complex and uncertain real-world problems. The practical demonstration provided the significance of advancing IT3FS research towards enhancing its usability and efficacy.
