Z-Number Valued Evaluation of Happiness Index

Evaluation measures of residents’ happiness recently involve the attention of researchers. However, state of the art of academic research in this field is scarce. In existing literature research on happiness mainly focuses on factors presented by numerical or fuzzy information. The reliability of information on these factors is not considered. In this paper, we suggest the approach to evaluate the happiness index by using the Z-number theory which provides the ability to consider the fuzzy uncertain value of factors influencing and their reliability. A numerical example is given for checking of validity of the proposed approach.
