Using Fuzzy Regression Modeling in Solving Management Problems

In modern times, modeling management in conditions of uncertainty is one of the most urgent issues. The effectiveness of decision-making under uncertainty depends on the ways of describing it. Most econometric and optimization models are more developed in solving economic problems. So both of them and others are also based on deterministic initial data. In them, uncertainty is considered as a random event, and probability-statistical methods are used for its description. It should be noted that many unknown factors exist in most modern decision-making issues during production planning and management in agriculture and industry. Also, it is necessary to use inaccurate, qualitative, or incomplete information. These create certain difficulties. Therefore, it is necessary to use an alternative approach to the probabilistic approach to describe such uncertainties. One of the most effective means of these approaches is to use the fuzzy set theory method. As we know, fuzzy regression modeling is the use of the fuzzy set method in regression analysis. This article discusses the prospects for using fuzzy regression models in production control.
