Decision-Making on IT Engineer Selection

Decision-making plays a crucial role in determining how reliable the results or conclusions drawn from primary data analysis. This paper is the second that aims to explain and discuss important methodological concerns connected to the layout and analysis of the decision-making of IT engineer selection process. Employee selection based on the concept of MADM methods has become more significant in recent years. The article offers a computational approach to IT engineer selection problem with the arithmetic of Z-numbers. The current decision-making problem has been solved by using the estimation of trapezoidal Z – numbers. The technique given here is based on generic pairwise matrixes on criteria, aggregation including the Eigen vector, Eigen values and the best solution of alternatives. This study can help managers make the best choice in IT managers also various employee selection procedure due to aggregation of expert’s appropriate evaluations of candidates. At last, a numerical example is used to illustrate the procedure of the presented method. All the calculations in paper implemented in Z-Lab software.
