Four Main Facets of Fuzzy Logic in “The Book of Dede Korkut”
摘要
The epos of heroism titled “The Book of Dede Korkut” is a literary text created by our ancient ancestor since the period of caves (pre-literary history) till the 15th century (until the time when it was recorded) step by step, word by word, sentence by sentence, episode by episode, point by point. The epos is, actually, of encyclopedic nature, and its overt and covert layers are displaying our nation’s customs and traditions, culture, language and even their development (changes). Also, the worldview of an ancient man (our ancestor), his/her attitude towards the surrounding world, his/her vision of himself/herself and his/her own society are reflected in the structure of the language and content of the epos. The mindware of the narrators of the epos, the synergetic perspectives opened by this mindware before our ancient ancestor present an interesting and promising study object for the theoreticians of logic and information. And it is not a coincidence that the theory of fuzzy logic, which was introduced back in the mid-1960s and has accumulated more and more proponents over the years, is inclined towards social sciences according to the desire of its founder, professor L. Zadeh. It is in full harmony, first and foremost, with the text of “The Book of Dede Korkut”.
