MPPT Method Based on Novel Approach for Stand-Alone PV Power Conversion Systems
摘要
The two most popular techniques for finding the maximum power point (MPP) of the solar system are the incremental conductance (InC) and perturbation and observation (P&O) approach. These techniques benefit from simple algorithms, user-friendliness, and quick convergence times. Besides, the large oscillation around MPP, not finding the global MPP under partial shading conditions are disadvantages of these methods. This research proposes the MPP tracking method based on the novel methodology to address the aforementioned issue. The proposed InC method has attained the global MPP more quickly than the standard techniques based on the benefits of simplicity and quick convergence speed of the traditional InC method. The simulation results proved that the proposed method converged with the time from 0.23 s to 0.25 s, faster than the conventional InC method from 0.17 s to 0.55 s.
