Postoperative Care and Follow-Up After Otologic Surgery

Otologic surgery requires meticulous postoperative care and follow-up to ensure successful outcomes and minimize complications. Care includes early, intermediate, short- and long-term phases. Early care includes postoperative pain management, nausea and vomiting control, and wound dressing checks. Intermediate care includes monitoring the healing of the ear canal and intervention if needed.
