摘要

Phenol in coking wastewater selected as a sample pollutant has been degraded by the advanced oxidation processes (AOPs). The effects of dosage of hydrogen peroxide, reaction time, the ratio of ferrous sulfate, and pH value on phenol removal rate were investigated by single factor experiment and orthogonal experiment. By mono-factor, when the coking wastewater is treated by hydrogen peroxide oxidation process alone, The best reaction conditions including hydrogen peroxide dosage of 6 mL/L and reaction time of 120 min, were obtained for the coking wastewater treated by hydrogen peroxide oxidation process alone. The optimum reaction conditions were obtained, including hydrogen peroxide dosage of 6 mL/L, reaction time of 120 min, hydrogen peroxide/ferrous sulfate molar ratio of 10:1, and pH value of 3, according to the orthogonal experiments. The results of parallel tests showed that the removal rate of phenol could achieve 67.6% under optimum conditions.
