Ion Chromatography Method for Simultaneous Determination of Five Anions in Rural Domestic Drinking Water

In this study, an ion chromatography method was developed for simultaneous determination of F−, Cl−, NO2−, NO3−, and SO42− in rural domestic drinking water. Through analysis of five standard substances, the measured values were consistent with the standard values. The detection limits of the method ranged from 0.006 to 0.015 mg·L−1, with relative standard deviations (RSD, n = 6) of 2.5–4.3%. The spiked recovery rates in actual samples ranged from 85.0 to 110.0%, meeting the analytical requirements. The method is simple to operate, provides good separation, and offers rapid, accurate, and reproducible analysis results, suitable for various types of water samples and fulfilling the needs of batch water quality testing.
