Datasets, Event Selection, and tt̄ Kinematic Reconstruction
摘要
This chapter details the object reconstruction, event selection criteria, CMS detector data sets used for measurement, and event yields associated with the measurement results of this dissertation. Methods for identifying and measuring the properties of particles such as electrons, muons, jets, and missing transverse energy are explained. Kinematic reconstruction of top quark pairs and the strategies for distinguishing signal events from background noise are also described.
