Study on the Influence of Geo-Studio Water Level Elevation on High Embankment Slope Stability

The research of the reservoir bank slope under the condition of water level change has been very mature, but the stability state of the high embankment slope under the condition of water level change in the middle reaches of Xiangjiang River is very few. In this paper, a high embankment slope of the middle reaches of Xiangjiang River was selected as the research object. Based on the Geo-Studio software to analyze the steady water level of the high embankment slope at 25 m, 31 m and 37 m, the research results obtained the change of the infiltration line in different water levels and the stability of the high embankment slope. The results show that the higher the static water level, the more stable the slope is, the slope stability is in the most unfavorable state during the water level decline, and the faster the decline speed, the faster the safety factor drops, the more likely to occur instability.
