Experimental Study on the Bonding Performance of Rarite Radiation Shielding Concrete with Anticorrosion Coated Steel Bars

Barite concrete can absorb X-rays and γ-rays and has good shielding performance, which is important for the development of nuclear energy. In this paper, C30 concrete is formulated, and six sets of center-drawn specimens are used to study the effects of factors such as rebar diameter and rebar anticorrosive coating on the bond performance of barite concrete and anticorrosive-coated steel bars. It was found that the anticorrosive coating of the steel reinforcement leads to a decrease in bond performance, and the smaller the diameter, the greater the effect. These studies can provide some data reference for the design and construction of barite anticorrosion concrete structures.
