The Influence of Mixed Fibers on the Bending Performance of SRSSC Beams Analyzed Through Finite Element Analysis

摘要

In this study, we analyzed the influence of glass-polypropylene fiber hybridization at different ratios on the flexural performance of steel reinforced sea sand concrete (SRSSC) beams. Through simulated experiments, we observed specimen failure modes and the load-deflection relationship, analyzed the effects of fiber incorporation on cracking, yielding, ultimate load, and deflection of the beams, elucidated the patterns of different fiber ratios on beam flexural stiffness, and revised the current code's load-carrying capacity calculation formulas based on experimental data. The results indicate that incorporating glass fibers alone and a glass-polypropylene hybrid fiber ratio of 1 can significantly enhance the flexural performance of SRSSC beams. These findings provide a theoretical basis for the selection and design of concrete materials in coastal and island construction.
