Analysis and Discussion on Investigation and Design of Karst Bridge Pile Foundation in Shijing Area of Guangzhou

Guangzhou Shijing area is a karst development area. In recent years, the Guangzhou Baiyun Station integrated transportation hub has carried out many municipal bridge projects in the Guangzhou Shijing area. Karst collapses and ground subsidence accidents caused by many engineering construction causes have resulted in different degrees of economic losses. The main reasons are the lack of research on the characteristics of karst development in the Guangzhou Shijing area and the lack of pertinence for the investigation and design of the karst bridge pile foundation. The law of karst development in the Shijing area of Guangzhou is studied through many on-site geological surveys. Combining with the actual geological situation, this paper analyzes and discusses the key points of the karst bridge pile foundation investigation and design. And summarizes the investigation and design process, aiming to provide a reference for the future investigation and design of the karst bridge pile foundation in the Guangzhou Shijing area, to reduce the occurrence of safety accidents.
