Detection Method for Surface Corrosion Level of Profiled Steel Plates Based on the Sliding Window Method

Profiled steel sheet is a commonly used material in enclosure structures, and the service environments for these structures are often challenging. Regular inspections for the corrosion level of profiled steel sheets are necessary to ensure the safety of the structure. Currently, common detection methods mainly rely on visual inspections. A sliding window method for detecting the corrosion level of profiled steel sheets is proposed in this study, with the aim of saving time and manpower and promoting the intelligence of structural inspections. The detection method involves segmenting the images using a sliding window. The trained network is then utilized for corrosion level detection, achieving an accuracy of over 80%. Intelligent visual detection of the corrosion level of profiled steel sheets has been achieved in this study, providing an intelligent approach for assessing the corrosion degree of profiled steel sheets.
