Analysis of the Load-Bearing Characteristics of Bridge Piles and Monopiles by Improved Saline Soil Under Freeze-Thaw Cycle

In order to explore the effect of saline soil improvement on the monopiles of pile foundation, the soil shear strength parameters under different conditions were obtained through static triaxial test. The ABAQUS software was used to understand the influencment of soil salt deterioration and the change of soil shear strength parameters before and after the improvement on the bearing capacity, axial force, side friction resistance and settlement of pile foundation, and raw the following conclusions: When the freeze-thaw cycle grows, the deterioration of pile foundation is intensified, and the side friction of pile gradually decreases and becomes stable after 10 freeze-thaw cycles. After adding the modifier, both fly ash modified soil and cement modified soil can effectively inhibit the amount of subsidence of the bridge monopiles, and the improvement effect is 14.5% and 40.6%, respectively. It provides reference for evaluating the bearing capacity of pile foundation of improved soil on salt-frozen environment.
