Analysis of Ultimate Strength of Steel Bridge Deck New Type with J-shape Stiffener
摘要
To improve fatigue resistance of steel bridge deck, a new structure of J-shape stiffeners consisting of vertical line segment and bottom semicircle, realizing double-side welding at the connection of stiffeners and the roof, and the plate thickness and section height are the same as those of the U-shaped stiffeners. At the same time, the vertical the second moment of area of J-shape stiffeners is basically the same and shares the advantages of U-shaped stiffeners, which overcomes the defects prone to fatigue. In this paper, the bearing capacity, deformation and plastic behavior of J-shape stiffeners in a bridge deck has been studied by using ANSYS software. The results show that the area and moment of inertia of J-type stiffeners meet the requirements of existing steel structure codes, but the bearing capacity decreases slightly.
