Sensitivity Analysis on Structural Parameters of Curved Extradosed Cable-Stayed Bridge

摘要

Extradosed cable-stayed bridge which is featured in beautiful shape, distinctive structural characteristics and the dual advantages of girder and cable-stayed bridge, is vigorously developed in the world in recent years. Despite the fact that there are extensive researches concerning on extradosed cable-stayed bridges in the world, but most of them almost focus on the linear extradosed cable-stayed bridge, while the research on Curved Extradosed Cable-Stayed bridge is rarely involved. This paper outlines the current research status and development of Curved Extradosed Cable-Stayed bridges, analyzes and discusses the proportion of load sharing of extradosed cable-stayed bridge, and proposes a formula for the load sharing proportion of curved extradosed cable-stayed bridge. Taking the Loong River Bridge as an engineering example, a finite element analysis model is established to analyze the influencing factors of the load sharing proportion of curved extradosed cable-stayed bridge. Five structural parameters are mainly selected for comparative analysis, including main girder stiffness, prestressing in the main girder, cross-sectional area of the stay cable, main tower stiffness, and main tower height. The paper compares and analyzes the effects of variations in these five structural parameters on the structural performance of Curved Extradosed Cable-Stayed bridges, and obtains the sensitivity laws of the main girder, main tower, stay cables, and main piers to variations in these five structural parameters. Therefore, the research on the structural behavior and structural design of Curved Extradosed Cable-Stayed bridge is not only favorable for expanding the scope of application of extradosed cable-stayed bridge, but also favorable for providing technical supports to the design and construction of curved extradosed cable-stayed bridge.
