Role of Mesotherapy in Dermatological Disorders
摘要
Mesotherapy is a minimally invasive approach that involves the transdermal injection of substances such as minerals, antioxidants, and vitamins directly into the dermis or deeper subcutaneous layers. In this way, mesotherapy delivers cosmetically active ingredients precisely where they are needed. Another mechanism of the therapeutic potential of mesotherapy is trauma and healing mechanisms. As mesotherapy injections cause trauma, they are followed by healing, thus improving the quality of the skin. Mesotherapy, when used in combination with other modalities, such as hydroquinone and fractional carbon dioxide lasers, further improves outcomes. There is also evidence that mesotherapy improves skin rejuvenation, skin texture, and collagen production and stimulates fibroblast activity. Undoubtedly, mesotherapy has the potential to treat various skin conditions and rejuvenate the skin.
