We deal with complementably universal Banach spaces. Assuming the Continuum Hypothesis, there exists a complementably universal Banach space of density \(\aleph _1\) for the class of Banach spaces with a projectional resolution of the identity. Similar methods produce a universal preimage for the class of Valdivia compacta of weight \(\aleph _1\) .
