This paper looks at the difference between strategic and tactical decision-making, and identifies the challenges faced by operations managers in understanding and implementing such decisions. It sheds light on how language influences decision views and outcomes by exploring the linguistic differences between strategic and tactical communication. The paper also discusses the impact of language on decision-making processes and suggests strategies that would help bridge any linguistic gaps between communicators. The conclusions of the research contribute to a better understanding of decision-making dynamics and provides implications for managerial practices.
