What this study seeks to achieve is to assess the influence of various dimensions of electronic word of mouth (eWOM), namely: Word credibility, word source, word sensitivity, and word repetition—on the buying behavior of customers et al.-Tawfeer Olive Press. A descriptive analytical approach is employed, with the study population comprising customers of Al-Tawfeer Olive Press in Salt City, Jordan. A random sample of 350 individuals was selected, and 322 valid questionnaires were collected, resulting in a response rate of 92%. The findings of the study revealed several significant results, particularly the statistically significant impact of the combined dimensions of eWOM on buying behavior. Additionally, each individual dimension of eWOM (word source, word sensitivity, and word repetition) was found to have a statistically significant influence on buying behavior. However, there was no statistically significant impact of word credibility on buying behavior. Based on these findings, the study put forth several recommendations, including the necessity to revitalize products in order to generate increased demand during the decline stage of sales, as well as the importance of developing an appropriate marketing mix that highlights product features and aligns with business objectives.
