This study explores the role of digitization in the economic recovery of Jordan after the adverse impacts of COVID-19 and emphasizes the significance of adopting digital technological advancement. It also highlights the significant role of digitization in promoting economic prosperity in the country. This research is based on an experimental research design. It incorporates the collection of primary data for qualitative research analysis. The target population is the top and middle management experts from different Small and midsize enterprises as the participants of focus group discussions. The collected information is analyzed for the selected companies’ I4.0 (Industry 4.0) readiness assessment. The findings indicate that most of the industries in Jordan require significant changes in current organizational structures for the better implication and adoption of I4.0. This study contributes significantly to Jordanian economic literature. The current study’s findings have significant practical implications that can contribute to the economic prosperity of Jordan.
