The Role of Local and International Efforts in Enhancing Environmental Administrative Control Authorities
摘要
This study highlights the role of local and international efforts in providing the necessary legal protection to protect the environment and its elements. The two-part study highlights the efforts of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria to protect the environment through domestic legislation. In addition, it examines the efforts of the international community to address environmental issues, including those of the United Nations and its affiliated conferences and agreements. The study revealed several findings, including recognition that the right to live in a safe and disease-free environment is one of the fundamental human rights recognized in the United Nations Universal Declaration of Human Rights. It is recommended to emphasize the consistency between domestic laws and international conventions to realize the concept of international and local environmental governance control.
