The Reality of the Organizational Structure and Its Characteristics in Achieving Job Satisfaction for Administrative Employees in Public Sector Institutions in Bethlehem Governorate

This study aimed to identify the reality of the organizational structure and its characteristics in achieving job satisfaction for administrative employees. The study was conducted on public sector institutions in Bethlehem Governorate from the employees’ point of view. The two researchers used the descriptive analytical approach to conduct the study and the questionnaire as a main tool for collecting information. The study was conducted on a random sample of (60) questionnaires and the sample items were distributed to the study population among public sector employees in the Bethlehem Governorate. The study reached several results, the most important of which are: The results showed that the degree of characteristics of the organizational structure in the public sector institutions in the Bethlehem governorate was great. The most common manifestations were the organizational structure in the institution characterized by administrative communication from top to bottom, followed by the organizational structure in the institution helping to delegate work, and it was the least common Changes in the organizational structure have increased the degree of complexity of the work. The results showed that the degree of ease of administrative communication in public sector institutions in the Bethlehem governorate was medium. The most common manifestations were the organizational structure helps to speed up administrative communication within the institution, followed by communications within the institution going in all directions, and the least common of which was routine administrative communication within the institution affecting negatively affects the speed of decision-making.
