This study seeks to examine how strategic vigilance influences administrative innovation within the Arab Bank in Jordan. The study focused on two variables: independent and dependent. The independent variable, which represents strategic vigilance, was assessed using four dimensions: competitive vigilance, environmental vigilance, marketing vigilance, and technological vigilance. On the other hand, the dependent variable, administrative innovation, was evaluated based on four dimensions: originality, fluency, flexibility, and sensitivity. To measure these variables, a questionnaire consisting of 39 items was developed and administered to a sample of 3424 employees. The retrieval rate of the questionnaires was 84%, with 379 analyzable responses. The researchers employed a descriptive-analytical approach and utilized various statistical tests in the SPSS program. The study yielded several significant findings, the most notable of which is the statistically significant impact of strategic vigilance dimensions on enhancing administrative innovation within the bank. Furthermore, there was a strong positive and inverse correlation between strategic vigilance dimensions and administrative innovation, with the former accounting for 68.8% of the variation in the latter. The impact of marketing and technological vigilance dimensions on administrative innovation was revealed in the findings, with marketing vigilance proving to have the most significant influence. However, no impact was observed regarding competitive and environmental vigilance on administrative innovation. Based on the study, it is recommended that the bank’s management take steps to enhance marketing practices and allocate necessary resources, despite already achieving a high level of marketing vigilance. The bank currently faces a scarcity of resources and tools required for the implementation of modern marketing practices. To address this issue, the bank's management should increase investments in this area by providing additional resources and technology to the marketing team. It is also crucial to continuously update these tools and technologies, as well as regularly upgrade techniques and systems to ensure the utilization of the latest available technologies. This will promote collaboration in the workplace, facilitate high-efficiency task performance, and enable the adoption of the best global practices utilized in the banking industry.
