The study seeks to investigate how administrative governance influences organizational commitment within the Ministry of Transport, Jordan. The study focuses on two variables: administrative governance as the independent variable and organizational commitment as the dependent variable. Administrative governance is assessed based on three dimensions: accountability, transparency, and fairness. Organizational commitment is measured through three dimensions as well: affective commitment, normative commitment, and continuance commitment. To measure these variables, a questionnaire with 33 items was developed. The study included a population of 150 ministry employees, and the questionnaire was distributed to all employees using a census sampling method. A total of 112 questionnaires were analyzed, resulting in a retrieval rate of 75%. The researcher employed a descriptive-analytical approach and utilized various statistical tests in the SPSS program to achieve the study's objectives and test its hypotheses. The study yielded several findings, including a significant positive impact of administrative governance dimensions on enhancing organizational commitment. Moreover, there was a strong inverse relationship between the dimensions of the variables. The dimensions of administrative governance accounted for 65.5% of the variance in organizational commitment, with fairness being the most influential dimension. To achieve optimal efficiency and inclusivity, the study emphasized the importance of establishing internal measures of accountability. It was suggested that a clearer delineation of responsibilities and thorough training for employees in relation to these responsibilities would be essential.
